Full-size, metal-bodied, with a soft white shade — this is the wall light you'd expect to find hardwired into a bedroom or hallway. It isn't. The bulb runs on its own battery, so you mount it wherever the room needs light rather than wherever the wiring happens to be.

If you'd rather hardwire it, you can. Both options are included.

Fifteen to twenty-three hours per charge.
A 4000mAh cell in each bulb. Recharge over USB, or swap to mains power if you decide to make it permanent.

Control it from across the room.
A remote works within five metres — colour temperature, brightness, and a 30, 60 or 120 minute sleep timer. Or use the button on the sconce itself if the remote's gone missing.

Three temperatures, ten brightness levels.
Warm at 3000K, neutral at 4500K, cool at 6500K, with dimming in ten steps from 10% to 100%.

Properly mounted.
Screws and wall anchors are included. At 23.8 inches tall this is a real fixture with real presence — not a night light.
